KERR BAY

Silence is not always the result of one’s will, nor is it prize for a disciplined chain of actions whose harbour is the quiet lake of oneself. Sometimes silence comes and you do not know how, you do not know what you did and why it covers you with that cloak that embraces skin, veins, and flesh. It is a silence you are not sure you deserve, but you surrender anyway. It is the silence of the child in his cradle, rocked to the rhythm of a sweet, repetitive, somewhat sad lullaby. These soft comings and goings that rock him, that rock you and place you gently in the calm waters of an undefined horizon. There, the clouds tuck you in and the world’s warmth protects you in your brand new dream...

Sometimes silence comes and you do not know how, and it tucks you into the warmth of your brand new dream...
